Fitness Industry Poised for Growth

Despite a faltering economy due to prolonged recession, experts forecast continued success within the fitness industry. According to reports from industry market research firm IBISWorld, consumers are expected to continue to pursue improvements in health and fitness. IBISWorld suggests that fitness facilities will experience a 3.2% growth in 2010, with revenues of $25.09 billion. Weight loss services are expected to grow to $3.87 billion, an increase of 1.9%.
