Do You Have an Appetite for Good?

Another way to eat responsibly and mindfully is to understand the mission behind the chefs, restaurants and food events you support. In the words of founder Patrick Chang, “Appetite for Good makes your favorite guilty pleasure—food—into a worthy cause.”

This New York City–based organization’s mission is to advocate and stimulate philanthropic organizations, events and causes across the country in the food and beverage industry.

Through interviews, event coverage, recipes and restaurant reviews, Appetite for Good showcases the best of the consumable fare out there, while applauding chefs, restaurateurs and celebrities who support worthy causes. “Our goal is to bridge the gap between two seemingly different worlds and bring them together for exciting events that give back to the community,” says the company’s website.
