Describe the work you do at IDEA:
In my role as HR Assistant and Executive Assistant at IDEA, I provide both administrative and people-focused support to help our team operate smoothly and efficiently. I assist with day-to-day HR functions such as coordinating onboarding, maintaining records, and supporting internal communications. On the executive side, I help manage schedules, organize meetings, and ensure leadership has what they need to stay focused and effective. My goal is to be a reliable go-to person for both the team and leadership—someone who helps keep everything moving behind the scenes so our mission can move forward.
Something you love about your job at IDEA:
I love supporting a team that’s passionate about health and fitness. It’s inspiring to see how IDEA impacts professionals worldwide and helps them grow in their careers. As both an HR Assistant and Executive Assistant, I truly enjoy being in a role that allows me to help others thrive—whether it’s by making day-to-day operations smoother or being a supportive presence behind the scenes. Being part of a mission-driven organization that promotes wellness and professional growth makes the work incredibly meaningful.
Favorite health food/meal: Grilled salmon with quinoa and roasted vegetables
Favorite junk food: Burgers and French fries
What should people know about you they might never ask about?
I have skills in cooking and baking, but I’ve never pursued it professionally. It’s something I enjoy doing for my family and loved ones—it’s my way of showing care and appreciation. In many Asian cultures, sharing home-cooked food is a meaningful way to connect, and for me, it’s a quiet passion that brings comfort and joy.
Dream vacation?
Amanpulo—hands down! There’s something so special about escaping to a quiet, untouched paradise right in our own backyard. As a Filipina, I find so much pride in the natural beauty of our islands. The white sand, the clear waters, and the peaceful vibe feel like a slice of heaven. A few days in Amanpulo, eating fresh seafood, feeling the sea breeze, and enjoying walang iniintindi (no worries at all)—that’s the kind of rest that truly fills the soul.
What is a Bucket List Item?
✔ Own a coffee shop business – As someone who loves coffee and cozy spaces, I’ve always dreamed of owning a small café. I imagine it as a chill spot where people can relax, read, work, or catch up with friends. And of course, it would still have a Filipino touch—local coffee beans, native desserts, and a design inspired by our culture.
Your hidden or most bizarre talent?
I have what some people call a mild photographic memory. I can remember random facts, images, and locations even after seeing them just once. It’s like my brain takes an instant snapshot without me realizing it. I can easily recall small details—like the exact spot of a shop, the layout of a space, or even the color of a door—without much effort. Friends often say I’m like a human GPS or a walking memory vault! It’s not something people usually ask about, but it definitely comes in handy in both everyday life and at work.
What’s one of your greatest accomplishments?
Raising a happy and loving child while balancing a busy professional life. It’s not always easy, but overcoming challenges and staying strong through life’s ups and downs has made me even more grateful and grounded. That’s something I’m truly proud of.
