SAN DIEGO, California – Respected nonprofit organization, “Positive Coaching Alliance” (PCA) is partnering with the IDEA Health and Fitness Association to present a free – and open to the public – PCA workshop at the 2025 IDEA® World Convention, in Sacramento, California, on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Providing fun, interactive professional development and practical tools, appropriate for: professional and amateur coaches; athletic and fitness trainers; physical educators; recreation leaders; volunteers; and parents; PCA teaches game-changing, coaching skills that ensure kid athletes are successful – on-and-off the field.

IDEA® is hosting the free PCA coaches training at 2025 IDEA® World Convention to support the “25×25 California Coaches Challenge”. This initiative, alongside the California Governor’s Advisory Council on Physical Fitness and Mental Well-being and the Susan Crown Exchange’s Million Coaches Challenge (MCC), aims to train 25,000 coaches in positive youth coaching across California by the end of 2025.

PCA’s IDEA® WORLD interactive session promises valuable insights, proven principles, and practical strategies to transform classes; health clubs and gyms; recreation departments; and sports and athletics; into positive spaces where everyone feels safe, seen, heard, and valued.
