Elements for Women, which is based in Miami but has clubs nationwide, offers Elemental Video-graphy to its members. This class involves learning choreography from music videos. According to the company’s press release, members select their favorite videos each season.
The Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club in San Francisco uses two types of bands to inspire its members with The Big Band Workout. According to the club’s online schedule, this class is a
30-minute routine performed to Big Band–era music “and something more.” The “fun and gentle” class utilizes the Thera-Band® to help participants improve their balance, strength, flexibility and stamina.
The McConnell Heart Health Center in Columbus, Ohio, has Danskinetics on its schedule. The class offers a “fusion of dance and yoga with energy and passion.” The class description urges participants to “move like no one is watching to the rhythmic beat of world music, Motown, Latin, soul and rock ’n’ roll.”
