I am a personal trainer, and I am finding it more challenging to recruit new customers in the fall and winter , any ideas?
Hello Angie Lee,
You may like to use the slow times for extra studying.
I may sound like a broken record: wear your logo clothing everywhere possible, join a local business group, let people know how you are able to help them when the conversations come up in public. Go to the parks and local games where the fitness oriented people congregate. Pass out your business cards, give rewards for referrals.
Take care,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.
Hi Angie,
How about marketing and running a Fall fitness challenge?
Fall is the new New Year… You could also run a special with current clients for referrals–and give them a small discount on your services for the referrals.
Make connections in your community. Teach a class for free or offer a free session to some local groups (schools, PTA, small businesses, etc…) to get the word out.
Also, make fitness and health connections in your area, as they may eventually become a referral resource for you.
Hope some of these suggestions help you.
Christine
