A virtual event is hosted entirely online. Attendees participate through a conference website designed specifically for IDEA Personal Trainer Institute. It will allow attendees to watch and participate in sessions.

A desktop computer, laptop, tablet, phone or similar device with internet connectivity and Chrome or Firefox web browsers installed is all that is required.

All times listed will be Pacific Standard Time. Sessions premiere on November 8 & 9, 2024 with live presenter interaction. You will have access to the content via on-demand thru September 30, 2025.

You will receive a reminder email with instructions prior to the event. Your email address and confirmation number will be your access into the virtual event space. The virtual event space will be open November 7, 2024 so you can get acclimated with the platform. We recommend you use this time to navigate the space, test your internet connection and familiarize yourself with the functionality.

No, you do not need to pre-select sessions. Once the virtual event goes live you are free to access any session you so choose.

Yes, you will receive on-demand access to all sessions at no additional cost, until September 30, 2025. You can come back any time and watch sessions you weren’t able to attend live, or revisit sessions you want to explore further. This is a great option for international attendees who are experiencing significant time differences

Yes, there will be a chat box available in each session on November 8 & 9 and we encourage you to ask questions and interact with presenters. Starting November 10, sessions will be on-demand with no further presenter interaction.

Session handouts will be available for print or download directly from the session listing within the event platform

Your proof of attendance and CEC credits are on your CEC certificate, instructions on how to find your CEC certificate will be email at the conclusion of the event. 

Your CEC certificate will populate with the sessions you selected during the registration process. You will receive communications on how to change/select sessions leading up to the event.

You can earn up to 10 CEC hours by attending the full virtual event on November 8 and 9. Please check with your specific certification agency for their renewal criteria.

IDEA will petition numerous agencies, including ACE, ACSM, NASM and more, for Continuing Education Credit approval. Once CECs have been approved, they will be listed on the event landing page.

CECs are assigned by each certification agency. Certification agencies base credits on the education provided and presenter qualifications. 

Generally, you’ll receive one CEC per hour for workshops and lectures. We are in the process of getting approvals from each of the agencies above and will post the credits soon as they are available. 

Your contact information can be set to private when you log in. If you would like to make yourself public, please update the settings in your event platform profile.

Event cancellations on or before November 1, 2024 will be refunded in full (less a $100 processing fee). Cancellations received after November 1, 2024 will not be eligible for a refund, for any reason.

*IDEAfit+ memberships purchased as part of a bundle package are non-refundable.

We’ve made it easier to switch names on event registrations at no charge. If you can’t make it, you may send a colleague in your place by contacting Inspired Service at least 7 days prior to the event (switches are subject to a fee increase based on member status). IDEA is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. IDEA and/or ACSM shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled, or postponed due to a fortuitous event, act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather or other emergency.

For every registration, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual platform. The credits earned are tied to the account of the individual that registered for the virtual event.
