NESTA
I am a veteran who recently lost 30lbs after a long hard time after deployment and have been inspired to help others through fitness, by becoming a trainer.
I have my NESTA workshop next weekend in which I was told to just sign up without materials and I will be fine. Any tips on what I can study online???
I applied to 24 hour fitness and they said they will take me after I pass. Need help on what to have an idea about before I go into the workshop?
Hi J.,
first off let me congratulate you on our personal accomplishment and your resolution for wanting to help other through fitness.
I was curious about this and went to the NESTA website where they talk about all sorts of information online. Here is a link http://www.nestacertified.com/personal-fitness-trainer-certification/. If you have not received online access, I would contact the organization and ask about it.
On the other hand, I certainly hope that there was a misunderstanding and that an organization like NESTA which is NCCA accredited would not pass a person who just shows up at a workshop.
I applaud you for being conscious of this and striving for excellence and what you will be doing.
