Interest in indoor rowing for health and fitness, as well as sports performance, has seen significant growth. However, the technical aspects of rowing have made this modality less accessible to coaches and trainers. Additionally, the lack of proper form for many individual users predisposes them to a myriad of chronic and traumatic injuries. This session will cover the benefits of indoor rowing, basic setup and use, the four phases of the rowing stroke, the pick drill, the “seven deadly sins” of rowing, how to assess and correct dysfunction, programming concepts and how to train for a PR. This is your chance to be coached by a Concept 2-certified coach and Mile High Indoor Rowing Champion.
