What is your professional mission statement?
Good question! It’s always good to have a concrete goal in mind. My goal is to creat a challenging workout and/or program that is both FUN and REWARDING! Working out can easily get boring (let’s keep it real!) so I like to challenge clients by working in different and fun excersises each time, and creating fun (and beneficial) rewards for clients as well. I am a strong believer in POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT and tough support (much different from negative reinforcements!!) and always operate out of mutual respect. OK so this doesn’t count as my mission statement cause it’s too long!! 🙂
Be honest. With regard to exercise, be honest concerning how hard, how long, how often, what type and expected outcomes. What is the ultimate goal? Fitness and/or performance.
With regard to nutritional lifestyle, which is absolutely concommitant with exercise lifestyle, what changes may be needed and is there is a willingness to adopt those changes.
I would say that I don’t flatter those with whom I work with the fluff of ad TV, just be honest, based on your knowledge of exercise physiology, biochemistry and all the rest.
Take care.
