Hi Nick. For me the answer is writing. While I know that writing is not for everyone, if you have any interest in it at all, it’s a great way to get your name out there AND make some additional income at the same time.
A referral program in place for current clients, as well as for businesses you network with that focus on your niche clientele. You need to know exactly what the program is, how clients an refer friends in, what if anything they’ll receive for the referral. Same with businesses. Business cards aren’t enough. A flier or presentation so they know what services you offer, what they’ll receive for the referral, that you will do the same (knowing our business numbers is helpful here so you can show the traffic they’ll get by partnering with you), how to refer the client to you, etc.
A seminar or class you can offer to a partnering business is also helpful and will expand your expertise and exposure for that companies clients.
Word of mouth it’s the best way for you to get advertised. The people who have tried your services and were happy with you, are the best source of information for others to learn about you. Beyond that, networking is the next best thing. Without networking and getting yourself out there and meeting new people, it’s almost impossible for others to hear and learn about you and your services. Social media is also good for marketing purposes, but if you don’t do any networking no one will even know where to go and look for you on social media. Go out and join different business networking groups, meet doctors and other health professionals with whom you could do some type of business together and exchange leads/contacts.
You could be the best trainer in the world, but if no one has ever heard of you then you will not go far in this business.
MANY OTHER FORMS OF ADVERTISEMENT CAN BE GOOD. BUT, YOU MUST CONTINUOUSLY DO IT. BUT, SUCCESS OF CLIENT GOALS SHOULD BE YOUR “WORD OF MOUTH” MARKETING. AND, THIS MUST BE CONTINUOUSLY A FACT. SOCIETY FORGETS FAST. YOU SHOULD ” TOOT YOUR OWN HORN” WITH ALL CLIENT SUCCESS. AND, THIS SHOULD BE INCORPORATED INTO YOUR OTHER FORMS OF MARKETING. I HAVE OPERATED 30+ YEARS IN THIS FASHION. FORMS OF MARKETING WILL KEEP CHANGING BUT WORD OF MOUTH STAYS THE SAME. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT.
