please be more specific; hands or feet? Severity? Walks with a cane?
Peripheral Neuropathy by itself does not limit exercise selection as long as a safe environment can be created to eliminate risk of falling or weights slipping out of the hands (use of bands instead).
However, there are often subsequent problems because of de-conditioning because the client may have avoided to walk, for example.
Please provide more information.
as a MELT instructor, I teach the MELT Foot Treatment. With that, I have seen some improvement with peripheral neuropathy. This technique heightens the sensation in the feet and thus improve balance. I have seen the improvement in front of me. The MELT Foot Treatment is not a cure but it can certainly help. You can go to www meltmethod.com for more information.
