one of my clients has bulgings arms ,she wants me to help her make those thin, can you suggest me some workouts for that
Hi Soumendra,
likely, your client has some excess weight on other parts of her body but that’s the spot that bothers her the most. Overall fat loss will help reduce the circumference in any part of the body. Adding exercises for biceps and triceps can made the underlying muscles structure firmer and thus improve the appearance of the upper arms.
This is a complicated area for women. While exercise can help, the weight loss has to happen through dietary discipline. And the body has a way of determining where it wants to deposit fat without any consideration from the mind.

I agree with Karin. As most of us know you cannot target an area of the body to lose fat. Where someone loses fat for the most part is genetic. We usually deposit fat in areas of our bodies genetically. Diet is a huge consideration & when we lose body fat and are working our muscles with resistance training we can make the underlying muscle strong & firm so that when we lose the body fat it will show stronger & firmer muscles.
Sounds like your client has an increased amount of fat cells in her arms which is genetically inclined as the other two stated. Increasing your clients overall daily energy expenditure can help shrink those fat cells in her arms. Also like the others stated diet is also a major factor. Increased energy expenditure and lowering calorie intake will keep your clients body burning those calories so extra fat is not stored in those fat cells in her arms. I would incorporate a lot of calisthenics in her sessions and long with bicep and tricep exercises. Also train the shoulders and back because those muscles attach to the arm as well especially to target the upper back part of her arm. Push ups, assisted pull ups, lateral and front raises, lat pulls, maybe incorporate some shadow boxing exercises, and of course bicep and tricep exercises.
Hello Soumendra Pattanaik,
You want to make sure the client follows a healthy lifestyle so they can look and feel their best; do not compare to others. We all have our own genes which adds a delightful variety to our lives. Concentrate on getting the person to realize that the body will do what it can and wants according to the decisions made by the person. Good decisions equals good body. Great decisions equals great body; but, still do not compare to anyone else. Look at where the person comes from at the starting line and keep track of progress The best workout is what the client will stick with for the long haul.
Thank you,
Natalie aka NAPS 2 B Fit.
