I see the fitness connect for finding trainers to train you, but what about facilities looking for certified trainers to work for them?

I recommend that you contact ACE, AMSM, NSCA and/or any of the recognized and respected certification organizations to inform their members of your search for certified trainers.

Most of the certifying organizations have a web page on their sites for gyms and studios to post job openings. I would use craigslist in your area and use the anonymous email for replies. Ask for Certifications/expiraitons and resumes. Then sort out who you want to email back for an interview.
