Regular exercise can reduce the incidence of premature death, heart disease and high blood pressure by up to 40%.
This is according to the ACSM Exercise is Medicine fact sheet.
Just please make sure that this person is cleared for exercise by their doctor before doing more than low intensity physical exercise.
