Workout Builder should be pretty simple to use. If you are in it, you can simply do a search for the exercise(s) you want. Once you have found an exercise, you can either drag it from the full screen of exercises to the right hand side (to create a new workout). Or, if you click and open the specific exercise, you can simply hit “add exercise”. It also allows you to edit the specific exercise as you wish for sets, reps, weight, time, and/or notes and comments. My clients really enjoy this option.
Once you have selected all of your exercises and made specific notes, there is an option to e-mail your client and/or print the new workout.

And as it is with anything that is new to you, practicing using workout builder and trying out the various options several times will help you get more comfortable with it. I suggest putting together a few workouts and sending them to yourself initially to see both ends of the how the program works.
