I completely agree with Natalie. If your followers are given content that’s valuable to them I feel as if they’re much more likely to “share” it with their friends. Then, if their friends find the content interesting, the chances of them “liking” your page increases. They’ll want to see your posts in their News Feed since they enjoy the updates you provide. Like Natalie, I’ve read about this from numerous sources.

In general, I would also suggest you take a step back and consider your ROI. Social media is an incredibly powerful tool when used the right way, but you should always double check that you’re making the most beneficial investments in your business. Bear in mind, however, that this “right way” depends on many variables.
