The simple math says, no…calories are expended per length of activity.
You may get a false sense of burning more calories in the heat because some people tend to lose their appetite and stay active more hours during the longer, warmer days.
Also, you may be getting dehydrated, which is something you do not want to let happen. The high humidity makes it very difficult to hydrate properly with the body fighting to stay cooler.

theoretically yes, but only in an indirect way. Your body has to work harder to keep you cool, and that’s what adds to the overall energy expenditure.
On the flip side, most people do not last as long in the heat than they do in cooler temperatures, so any extra calories expended through the need for temperature regulation are probably offset by the fact that the overall duration of the exercise will be shorter.
