ACL Repair: From Physical Therapy to an Active Lifestyle

Share

Presented by

Chris Gellert

One of the most feared recreational and work injuries is a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Although they are often associated with sports injury, they also occur during falls, vehicle collisions and non-contact activities.

Each year, there are between 250,000-300,000 ACL injuries, costing the healthcare system more than $1 billion. Even more challenging, the recovery period is often 6 to 9 months.

In this dynamic webinar, post-rehabilitation expert Chris Gellert, PT, will review the functional anatomy of the knee, the causes of ACL injuries, and the management of the injury as a client progresses from medical intervention to physical therapy to post-rehab specialists.

With the goal of building ongoing strength and stability, attendees will learn how to safely and confidently design a program for a client who has had an ACL injury/surgery. The seminar provides foundational science information, assessments and practical applications.

Chris Gellert is the founder and CEO of Pinnacle Training and Consulting Systems. Chris has treated more that 40,000 patients and over 10,000 health and fitness professionals worldwide to develop a unique set of skills that separates them from their competitors and increases medical referrals.
