Hi Juliet,

can you provide a context for this question.

The term “fit” has many interpretations and meanings.

If I were to guess Juliet, you mean how to interest a potential client when they are already working out 3-7 days/week, it is their lifestyle, and you think they don’t need you?

If my assumptions are correct, I don’t know either lol. I’m really a horrible business/sales person and if they go through my evaluation and are a general population type, all I have to say is you are doing a great job and keep doing what you are doing. If I were to think of it from a business/sales stand point, during my initial evaluation I would think of a way to show value to them how I could help them improve even more, or show them why they need me also. Works all the time , 50% of the time. But really, give us more context so others can help

I would ask them what they’d like to be able to do in the next 6 months that they can’t do yet, or what goals they have upcoming (i.e. I have a client who wants to learn how to do stand-up paddle boarding this summer). Then if I have the skills to get them to that level, I’d sell that.

I guess I should also mention, if I don’t think I’m a good fit for a client, I am more than honest about that. I don’t train clients for physique competitions because I’ve never done it myself and it doesn’t interest me in the least. That’s why my first thoughts are to interview the potential client to see if there is a match between their goals and my skills / interests.
