335 Improving Trip- and Slip-Resisting Skills in Older Adults

Exercise interventions that reduce fall risk focus primarily on strength and balance training. However, according to the concept of training specificity, the motor skills required to avoid a trip- or slip-related fall may be improved most with skill-specific training. This workshop will introduce you to exercise movements that improve slip- and trip-resisting skills in your fall-prone clients.
