LES MILLS Group Fitness Management 1-Day Course

This is a management education course that ensures every aspect of maximizing attendance and running a successful group fitness program is delivered, enabling clubs to achieve their business goals. Based on 50 years of group fitness experience, this course has been tried and tested with facilities from all sectors and sizes, helping them to become some of the most profitable facilities around the world. This 1-day workshop will explore four of eight key plays, covering how to set targets that meet club goals, how to recruit and motivate world-class talent, and how to create an experiential studio that will keep members coming back for more. This course is great for fitness managers, club managers, group fitness managers and instructors for career development in the group fitness management space. Attendees should bring a hard copy of their group fitness schedule and attendance numbers for an entire month, total membership size and total facility check-ins for one month.

Punch and kick your way to fitness with LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT. This high-energy martial arts-inspired workout is totally noncontact and there are no complex moves to master. Your LES MILLS instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

Exercise Prescription for Stress Management and Recovery LECTURE

According to the 2019 Gallup poll, Americans are among the most stressed people in the world. This negative emotion causes an imbalance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Individuals who suffer from chronic stress may experience symptoms such as irritability, fatigue, headaches, sleep disturbances and decreased immunity. Heart rate variability, subtle variations between each heartbeat, is a simple way to monitor stress. This session evaluates the influence of high-intensity training and yoga/meditation on heart rate variability. With this data, we will provide recommendations for the optimal stress-reducing physical activity prescription.

LES MILLS GRIT™ Cardio WORKOUT

This 30-minute. high-intensity interval training workout improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn using a variety of body-weight exercises. LES MILLS GRIT Cardio combines HIIT with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.
