It is called your kitchen. You are wasting your money on heavily processed, nutrient stricken, chemically altered foods. Learn about foods, and implement that into cooking. It will be the best investment you can make in your life toward betting your health, and I can guarantee it. I used to eat fast food several times a week sometimes several times a day. I was obese for quite some time and learned to develop eating habits as well as to cook which was part of the reason I am in the fitness industry. I lost over 100 pounds, and am around 5 % percent body fat right now. If you have any questions, you can personally email me jmartuscello@mail.usf.edu (as this is one of favorite subjects to discuss and I writing a book about).

The best delivery method or service is your body. Get moving, go jogging or cycle to the greengrocer, and you get MUCH more benefit than to sit sedentary at home waiting for food to be delivered. And buy all you eat fresh (that's why I suggested greengrocer) and preferably raw.

Your kitchen may be the best place but I understand that you sometimes do not have time to cook. Or - as I also can empathize - you may not feel like it.

There is a great site where the various meal delivery options are compared. Here is the link: http://www.dietdeliveryreviews.com/ .

Obviously cooking your own food is best, but I have tried a couple of services.

I liked Diet to Go best because of their vegan/vegetarian options and fresh food. Depending on your location, you actually pick up the food for a week or however many days from a local gym. Really good food. You can also choose how many meals you want in addition to how many days. For example, at the time I was worried about breakfast and dinner during the week, so I would order only those meals for 5 days at a time.

Brendan Brazier has recently come out with a vegan food delivery product (triathlete and founder of Vega Sport). I haven't had it but I know he is big on quality.

There are many reasons that one may not want or have the ability to cook, and as I agree that the kitchen is the best place for me to cook that doesn't mean it's for everyone.
I think as personal trainers we need to provide as much information to our clients and offer them as much variety as we can, this can extend to questions such as this one.

Jason:
Please research the links Joanne and Karin provided and make sure that you are getting fresh, natural and when necessary organic foods delivered.
