Staci Alden

Group Fitness Director of PRO Club.

Staci Alden has been a dedicated group fitness director at PRO Club in Seattle since 2012. She oversees a team of over 115 private Pilates and group fitness instructors, and she believes that successful leaders understand their most important role is to promote, serve and support their team. Staci teaches and hires for all 55 formats provided at PRO Club and is a master Balanced Body® barre and MOTR® instructor. Her leadership has increased instructor retention, built successful new programs and continues to grow department revenue each year.

Travis Barnes

Owner of Journey Fitness

Travis Barnes is a certified personal trainer who grew his multimillion-dollar fitness company, Journey 333, to five locations in less than 4 years. He started at less than zero, building his future with an unemployment check while living in a FEMA trailer. Now, his company is known for its exemplary customer service and business systems, and he is franchising it across the globe. Travis is a co-author of two books, 52 Amazing Journeys and Journey Fitness.

Nickie Carrigan

Owner of The Warehouse.

Nickie Carrigan has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry. In 2013, she opened a debt-free studio called the Warehouse, then over the next 7 years, assembled an incredible team and grew a solid clientele from 30 to 150. Nickie’s unwavering belief in community goes beyond the four walls of her studio. Through local outings, teaching fitness in schools, social media engagement, hosting for-a-cause events, sponsoring local athletic teams, and monthly TV appearances, the Warehouse has become a cornerstone for fitness in her community.

Todd Durkin, MA

Owner of Fitness Quest 10.

Todd Durkin, MA, is an internationally recognized trainer, coach, author, speaker and podcaster who works with some of the highest-level athletes in the NFL, MLB, MMA and Olympics. Todd owns Fitness Quest 10 in San Diego, leads a team of 42 employees and runs a Mastermind Group for passionate, purpose-driven fitness pros. He's a past IDEA Jack LaLanne Award recipient, and his Todd Durkin IMPACT Show podcast has had over 100,000 downloads in less than a year. Todd’s new book, Get Your Mind Right, will be published in 2020.

Mark Fisher

Co-owner of Mark Fisher Fitness

Mark Fisher is an in-demand international speaker, consultant and entrepreneur. He is the co-owner of Mark Fisher Fitness, one of Men's Health Magazine’s Top 20 Gyms in America. MFF has two locations in Manhattan and was ranked #312 on the 2015 Inc. 500. In addition to MFF, Mark co-founded Business for Unicorns in 2016. BFU has worked with clients like Sony Music, Sylvan Learning and the ACLU, as well as many of the leading fitness studios across the U.S. and UK.

Trina Gray

Owner of Bay Athletic Club

Trina Gray is recognized worldwide as a passionate leader in the fitness industry. She is a successful health club owner, business mentor and IDEA presenter. Trina has owned Bay Athletic Club, a medical-based health club, and Bay Urban Fitness, a large group training studio, for more than a decade. She also founded Team Rockstar Fit, an online coaching team of thousands of fitness professionals who partner with Beachbody®. She is the recipient of the first-ever IDEA Fitness Leader of the Year award, the Top 10 Small Business of the Year award in Michigan, the CEO Award from Beachbody and the Outstanding Community Service Award from IHRSA. She is a savvy entrepreneur who loves sharing business and life lessons with fitness professionals.

Erin Kelly

Chief Strategy Officer for Brick Bodies.

Erin Kelly is the chief strategy officer for Brick Bodies, a chain of health clubs in the Baltimore area. In this multifaceted role, she is responsible for leading innovation in fitness programming, managing the club’s go-to-market strategy and design, and driving employee satisfaction and retention. Erin previously spent 12 years with exercise programming leader Les Mills, first as a national distributor and ultimately as the executive vice president for B2B national key account management and client acquisition. Erin has more than 30 years in the fitness industry and enjoys speaking at industry conferences, consulting with fitness startups, traveling to new places, and on occasion, flexing her residential real estate license because, in her own words, she loves making deals.

Sarah Morrison

Communications Director of Bay Athletic Club.

Sarah Morrison is a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and 2x elite Beachbody® coach. She began her career as a broadcast journalist with a passion for fitness; however, she soon transitioned to a fitness professional with a niche for marketing. She is currently the communications director of Bay Athletic Club where she oversees the social media, website and newsletter, and helps strategize new programs and offerings. In her Beachbody business, she leads a team of more than 500 coaches and has built her own brand for women who value their health and crave positivity.

Ashley is known for her commitment to living a "balanced" entrepreneurial life and coaches others to achieve this through leveraging their strengths, mastering their schedules and building strong teams. Matt Wright, MS

VP of Personal Training & Programming at City Fitness

Matt Wright, MS, is the VP of personal training and programming at City Fitness in Philadelphia, and has 10+ years of experience in fitness leadership with an emphasis on member engagement, programmatic solutions for personal/group training, staff education/retention and team culture. He is an international presenter and educator, a member of the IDEA World Personal Trainer Committee and a former president of NEHRSA. As an adjunct professor, Matt has taught kinesiology, anatomy and physiology, and exercise technique and prescription. He holds a master’s degree in sport and exercise psychology and is a certified exercise physiologist.
