According to the World Health Organization (WHO), major depressive disorder affects an estimated 350 million individuals worldwide, disproportionately women. In the tradition of yoga, regular, long-term practice is believed to reduce suffering and cultivate happiness. So intuitively, yoga for depression makes sense. In this session, you will learn how mind-body techniques and yoga help ease depression and anxiety, and how to differentiate yoga styles most suited for each, while acquiring meditation strategies to smooth mood imbalance.
