492 A Client-Centered Approach to Program Design
Many exercise professionals can create the perfect exercise program and expertly cue form during every personal training session, but helping clients achieve their own long-term goals takes planning and a vision that you and your client should create together. The ACE Integrated Fitness Training® Model (ACE IFT®), a three-phase approach to exercise programming, is anchored in the ACE Mover™ Method, which is a philosophy based on a client-centered approach grounded in the principles of behavior-change coaching. In this lecture and activity session, you’ll apply the ACE IFT® model to any client through the lens of the ACE Mover Method to help your clients reach their long-term goals.
