264 It’s All in the Hips: The Biomechanics of Static Stretching
Stretching is important for everyone. In this dynamic workshop, you’ll get a deep understanding of how to maximize your stretching routines. We’ll cover how stretching impacts the body on a cellular and microscopic level and how that applies to the physics of human movement, mobility and structural integrity of the musculoskeletal system. Then, you’ll experience and learn how to apply effective biomechanical adjustments to enhance stretching benefit. This workshop will also include multiple 5-minute static stretching routines primarily focused on hip flexibility.
