According to the U.S. Census Bureau, by 2030, the size of the older population will increase so that one in every five residents will be of retirement age. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 80% of older adults have at least one chronic health condition such as diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease. Regular physical activity can help prevent these conditions and is crucial to maintaining health throughout the aging process. As a result, there is an emerging demand for health and exercise professionals with expertise in senior fitness. That’s where you come in.
