Thad is a phenomenal coach who goes above and beyond to meet his clients' needs. His clients come in all shapes and sizes, ages and abilities and in each client he sees incredible potential. He works in a very supportive and non-threatening way to nurture that potential and help clients set and achieve goals. Thad celebrates a 15 minute mile runner with the same level of enthusiasm he celebrates a 6 minute mile runner-a quality you don't find in every coach!

I have known Thad for about a year, in a personal (client) capacity as well as a professional capacity as a physical therapist. Thad is able to display his knowledge of his experience and the exercise science behind training in a fluid way for his clients to grasp and implement accordingly. His studio is open to novice and repeated competitors alike and blends the community gracefully. As a physical therapist, I have worked with some of the same clients along the way and Thad is highly understanding, flexible, and works seamlessly with any adjustments and plan of cares that I may have regarding someone with a injury. Anytime someone comes into my clinic and mentions running, I mentioned Thad before they leave my clinic.

Thad is an awesome trainer. He is very experienced and has been in the field for a while including writing a book. The best part about his training is that he created a community of runners of all ages from the most competitive marathon runners to people that are training for their first 5K. Regardless of your experience of age you will feel welcome. Training with Thad is so much fun!

I started with Thad in August of 2016. I have loved every minute of it. I cancelled my gym membership in order to add another day with his program. He is knowledgeable, dedicated, encouraging, nurturing, supportive and so many other things I never expected. His training programs are wonderful and the groups are like family. He goes the extra mile for his clients and gets to know each person's needs and goals and works with you to meet them. I can't recommend him enough. I went from running 5ks to 10ks to 10 milers to half marathons. I'm not sure I would have been able to comfortably accomplish those things without him. He is truly working in his gift.

I have been training with Thad McLaurin for about 6 months and have already seen great results. I have lost 10 lbs. and I am working on losing another 20 lbs to get to my goal weight. Thad is the 4th trainer I have had over the last 8 years and I have found him to be the most attentive. When you work with Thad you have his undivided attention and he plans your training based on your desires and his expertise. Every workout is different, which keeps training fresh and exciting. I like the fact that we work on lots of different functional workouts, mulit joint exercises and pliometrics. I am so happy to be working with Thad. Dan Deuterman, Greensboro, NC
