    John Thomas was my personal trainer to help me reach a specific fitness goal (high school reunion). He introduced the concept of having strong core strength, which is the foundation of fitness. John Thomas designed a series of workouts that built incrementally on my capabilities and challenged me "just enough" to see results. John Thomas made our training sessions fun with his upbeat personality and a thoughtful motivation. I continued training sessions with John Thomas after the high school reunion because he inspired me to dig deeper and being strong and healthy for a lifetime was the true goal.

    JT has a realistic approach to fitness that is fun and effective for the average person. His balanced approach that includes mental and spiritual components along with the physical part makes it possible and refreshing to enjoy/benefit from a great workout.     John and I worked together for what seems like 5 years in retrospect. We worked hard but enjoyably each day. Some days we each wanted to be exactly where we were; other days I know I didn't want to be there. But John got me there to work as best and as hard as I could. Lots of good talking during our sessions, too. Debates, even. John is everything that a dedicated but motivationally challenged client needs in a personal trainer.
