“Yoga is now popular in China, and more and more Chinese youngsters want to practice it as a means of relaxation, as well as to keep fit,” says Brian Zhang, director of the 2005 China International Yoga Show and Conference. As we go to press, this event is about to take place at the Beijing Exhibition Centre in Beijing.
“Our aim is to host the largest-ever yoga show, which would also bring China and India closer, with many Indian yoga masters and practitioners taking part to demonstrate their skills to the Chinese audience for the first time.”
According to Zhang, conference organizers expect more than 300 exhibitors and 80,000–100,000 visitors.
