Women Pace Better Than Men
Ten-year analysis reveals gender differences in marathons.

Women pace themselves better than men when running marathons, according to an analysis of 10 years of marathon results, available on RunRepeat.com. Turns out, female runners were 18.3% better at keeping an even pace throughout the entire 26.2 miles. And “female ultra runners are faster on average than male ultra runners at distances over 195 miles.”
