Transform Your Growth and Earning Potential

There may be no betterway to accelerate your career path in health and fitness than by experiencing the IDEA World Fitness Convention, the world’s leading education event exclusively for fitness pros. Just ask industry superstar Jeanette Jenkins, knownas “the Hollywood trainer,” who has 17 fitness DVDsand whose celebrity clients include Kelly Rowland, Pink and Alicia Keys. Jeanette will soon launch her own online holistic health and fitness club with workouts, recipes, celebrity segments and motivation. She has been making a six-figure income in fitness since she was 25 years old, and it all started at an IDEA World Fitness Convention in Orlando, Florida, in 1996.

“I had studied human kinetics at the University of Ottawa, and I was planning to go into sports medicine or be a physical therapist. I came from a small town, and I didn’t see how I could possibly have a career in fitness. I heard about the IDEA convention, but I couldn’t afford the registration fee so I volunteered to be an assistant.”

That decision changedthe course of Jeanette’s life. “The IDEA World Fitness Convention opened my eyes! I saw what a huge industry fitness is and what a massive opportunity it was. People of all ages—rich and poor—need health and fitness. I couldsee how passionate the presenters were, and I could feel they had the same joy about fitness that I did. I started to network with all the presenters I admired so much. I tried everything and got every certification I could. It was actually at an IDEA World Convention that I got signed to represent NIKE®. That wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t go to IDEA World.”

Jeanette has 17 certifications in addition to her degree, and she advises fitness pros to go to IDEA World Fitness and try everything. “My advice is soakit up, do it all and don’t be afraid to get to know people. Don’t be afraid to network! The leaders and presenters want to help you, but be as specific as you can in telling them what you’re going for. Do you want to do a video? Start a training business of your own? Be brave, claim it and start talking about it!”

Don’t miss Jeanette Jenkins’s Showcase Room session at this year’s event!
