Mark Rothstein, long-time IDEA member and jump rope guru, was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame (NFHOF) on March 5, 2011. The organization was founded to remember and reward individuals and organizations who have promoted health and fitness to the American public. Rothstein has performed more than 10,000 shows for more than 5 million young people across the country. He is a current Guinness World Record Holder for jumping rope continuously for 36 hours.

“The honor of induction in the NFHOF touches my life by further enhancing my never-ending commitment as a fitness role model,” Rothstein says. “Using my skill set as a fitness professional, educator and performing athlete, the primary objective of my World of Rope Jumping shows has been—and always will be—to make a profound, powerful and positive influence on young people around the world.”
