Youth Fitness Club (YFC) LLC has launched a new website to help improve the health and fitness levels of preteens and teens who are struggling with their weight. Information on the site focuses on behavior modification through nutrition and physical activity, rather than on the latest diet.

According to a press release announcing the new website, YFC offers a solution that enables teens “to make smarter choices concerning their health while building self-esteem through education, club member support and volunteering programs.” Features of the site include a personal interactive journal, a food database, an “Eat Right” section, a “Get Fit” section, a “Club Support” section, a “Fitness Friends” section to team with other club members for peer motivation and support, and an e-mail section that lets teens message each other directly on the site.
