food journals go viral

Food for Thought

Experts agree that recording what you eat each day makes people more aware of their calorie intake, which in turn can help expedite and even maintain weight loss. Advise your tech-savvy clients to e-mail themselves real-world descriptions of what they ate at each meal.

Using their Blackberry® Smartphones or iPhones, clients can add up this precise recording to see the true number of calories they ingested over the course of each day. They can also describe their mood each day to see if there is a connection or pattern between their emotions and the types of foods they gravitate toward.
