Cool Off With Frozen Fresh-Fruit Yogurt Pops

Who doesn’t enjoy a chilled popsicle on a hot, muggy summer day? Trouble is, too many of the store-bought varieties are loaded with sugar and other nonhealthy ingredients. To keep your kids cooled off but healthy this summer, try making and freezing some of your own fresh-fruit yogurt pops. Better yet, encourage your children to come up with their own fruit combinations so as to enjoy the bounty of the season.

Place yogurt, vanilla, lemon juice, corn syrup and 1 cup of the fruit in a blender or food processor; purée until smooth.

Add remaining fresh fruit and pulse the mixture three or four times, until fruit is broken down into small pieces.

Pour mixture into eight half-cup frozen molds, place tops on molds and insert wooden sticks.
(You can also use small paper cups, plastic wrap to cover them, and toothpicks.) Freeze pops at least
4 hours before serving. Makes eight servings (one pop per person).
