This core exercise progression is a real challenge. Use a weighted bar or a dowel and the BOSU balance trainer. Start in a V sit with your chest lifted and your feet on the floor. Rotate the bar to the side, rotating your torso and then come back to the center, reset that position, and then repeat on the other side. Each time you come back to the center reset that position. Lift through the lower back and keep your chest lifted. The next progression is to take the feet off the floor. So, you're going to need to lean back a little bit more, as it's very challenging. Go to the side, reset in the center, go to the other side, and reset in the center. For the third progression, you may need to adjust your position here. Do a flowing motion from side to side, like paddling. Paddle with the weighted bar, really loading up the obliques. This is a challenge so make sure you've mastered the other two progressions before you go onto that third progression.
