Tim Haft is certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (since 1998), as a track coach by USA Track & Field, and as a stability ball instructor by Resist-A-Ball. He also holds a BA in history from the University of Virginia and an MA in sociology from New York University. In fall 2004 Tim created Punk Rope™, a group exercise class, which mashes up recess and boot camp. Punk Rope is offered in 13 states and is the most popular rope-jumping inspired fitness class in the U.S. Tim is also the creator of Beast-a-netics™, a Tabata-inspired workout, which emphasizes high intensity body weight training. Tim’s approach to fitness is simple. Find an activity you enjoy and stick with it. Play often. Take care of your body. You only get one. And remember that age is only a number.
