644: Functional Core Matrix-Improving Efficiency of the Back and Core

Functional Core Matrix consists of training the core using 3-D movements in each plane of motion. In all movement, your clients must be able to maintain balance, prevent injury, move efficiently and perform well while moving in multiple planes. This requires the core to stabilize, accelerate, decelerate, rotate and aid in lifting. This session will identify the risk factors associated with back injury and provide solutions for injury prevention, performance enhancement, and improving the efficiency of the back and core. Also, you will walk away with a toolbox filled with horizontal and vertical core training exercises that can be used with clients.
