The word "mindfulness" is being widely used, but what does it actually mean? Does it require daily meditation or specific spiritual beliefs? This session peels back the layers and shines light on the many misconceptions that exist regarding the principles and practices of mindfulness. Through scholarly inquiry and experiential learning, we'll unveil what it truly means to be mindful, and examine how both formal and informal practices can optimize the health and well-being of you and the people you're called to serve.
