Prenatal Fitness-Myth versus Truth L
When working with this very special population, it is critical that you have the most accurate information at your fingertips. We'll bring to light the many misconceptions about exercise and pregnancy and help you to differentiate fact from fiction.

The Trimester Workout WO
Participants will experience a total-body workout that emphasizes movements and modifications for each trimester.

10:20am-11:20am
The Pregnant Athlete L
Find out about the upper limits for the athletic pregnant client. Learn where the research differs from the guidelines and how to build safe workouts that will still challenge your client.

11:30am-12:30pm
Working Out With Baby WO
This session will teach you how to include baby in your (or your clients') workouts. The focus will be on strength and flexibility, addressing the many needs of new moms. Note: babies are welcome but not required for this workout.

12:30pm-1:30pm
Lunch on your own.

1:30pm-2:30pm
The Biomechanics of Motherhood L
It is not uncommon for new moms to experience aches, pains and injuries after giving birth. This is due in part to repetitive stresses and muscular imbalances that most moms are unaware of. Emphasis will be placed on uncovering and understanding the muscular chain reactions that occur after childbirth, as well as teaching clients how to move with precision and purpose.

2:40pm-3:40pm
The Business of Birth L
Learn how to build your business with this specialty population. We'll focus on types of businesses, marketing strategies, risks and working with the medical community.

3:40pm-3:55pm
Closing
Earn up to 4 CEC hours. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
