Army Recommends Holistic Health Approach

Former physical fitness training manual is updated.

The U.S. Army has updated its former physical fitness training field manual to the FM 7-22 Holistic Health and Fitness manual. The new version reflects a more integrated approach to well-being and revises the previous doctrine of physical readiness training. The new Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System includes five readiness categories: mental, sleep-related, nutritional, physical and spiritual.
