Personally, No! But I’m probably not the clientele they’re after. The places where they’re listed will cater more to the celebrity, executive, sports figure. These are the same people who spend over $2000 a night for a hotel room. They want the privacy and catering and they don’t want to be watched by prying eyes.

So while I myself wouldn’t pay that for a gym membership, there are some who may for the privacy and personal attention.

Hello Harris Sophocleous,

The answer to your question is, no.
Take care.

Hi Harris,

I wished that I could answer from a position where I actually would be able to pay such an amount for an annual gym membership. I can’t even imagine such wealth that would make this an option.

However, considering how celebrities are hounded, I can imagine that somebody would be willing to pay a great deal for privacy.

So I’ll pass judgment on that one.

Yes. And I would want everything provided.

Across the street from my home is Club E. It’s Equinox high-end gym. The cost is $25,000 annually.

Obviously the demographic that they are catering towards finds that amount unexpensive. If I had a $25,000 to blow it would be no brainer for me.

I think that is way out of a lot of people’s means. I could not afford that. I know that making a living is very important but so are people’s health. I think that providing more affordable options will reach more clientele than just providing for the elite.
