I have held many classes (and private sessions) outdoors and it has always been well received. As Shawn said, you need to watch out for rain. For this very reason I don’t have an ongoing outdoor class but, when the weather is good, they ask me for it. Finding a location hasn’t been too challenging (I don’t know anything about Laredo, TX.) here in Chattanooga, TN. Parks and school yards are my typical haunts but, I’ve been known to utilize a parking lot or two on occasion. Locate those with authority to grant written permission for use, negotiate some terms (most of the time you gotta give something, hasn’t always been money so get creative) and notify your insurance of the new location. Adapt training for the given surface and bring extra water; even if you have instructed your participants to do so. Lastly, find the nearest restroom, no matter how far it is, it might be necessary.
