working out and nutrition during fasting.
Hi i know this is not your regular question , and it will not target a lot of people. i am curious to hear about other peoples advices in regards to nutriton and when to workout during fasting season(ramadan) in short, you start fasting from 4 am -9pm no food or water, dont ask why, its just a religious belief, so you have a window of food and water from 9pm-4am. what do you guys think is the best routine, to maintain or even gain better results during this period considering the fact that you are without food or water for a long period.
thx guys
I would suggest not exercising at all during this time. It may be a little too dangerous.

If you’re on a fasting period- Id suggest looking at it as the off season. If you’re able to schedule workouts throughout the year with a set goal sometimes its good to set up off time.
It helps fight burnout, and you’ll be free to put fitness on the backburner while keeping healthy.
Maybe just shoot for eating healthy and minimal, fun workouts like hiking, short jogs, time on the beach, etc.
Hi Ali,
I saw that you live in North Carolina as well, and the heat and humidity can certainly take it out of anybody. Particularly abstaining from water for that period of time each day creates a challenge on your system, even without consideration to exercise.
I would consider this time to be a maintenance, and if you want to engage in physical activity, maybe challenge yourself with activities ‘out of the box’ that require agility and flexibility. If you have never tried Tai Chi, give that one a shot. That one is a lot more difficult than you would think. Even if you may not have a Tai Chi instructor close by, a video will suffice. There are other practices from the Eastern tradition all of which assist in maintaining fitness. And they may also add skills to your business at the same time.
Good luck.
