Work Out Gloves…Useful or Hindrance?
I love the Wags brand of fingerless gloves useful for yoga and Pilates floor work. I have carpal tunnel and the raised gel pads on the heel of the hand has been life changing as to what exercises I can re-incorporate for myself. You also don’t lose as much class time adjusting props to help the wrists. I love them and have used the same pair for 5 years.

I love them. Have always used them and find that it is a big help for protecting my hands. They have now become a part of my “ritual” when working out. 🙂 I also like the extra barrier when working out at a health club. So many people using the equipment that I kind of like having that extra barrier between me and the bar/weight, etc.
Gloves are fine for the majority of the population. However, you rarely if ever see serious lifters such as those who do powerlifting, Olympic lifting, grip training, and strongman using them. I think they are a great tool for some, but not for me. I am a busted knuckles, chalk everywhere kind of guy. That may be why I have a home gym.
