Woodway treadmills? yay or nay?
I’m planning to purchase 2 refurbished Woodway treadmills, specifically the Desmo model. I know the price is quite steep and I could find a much cheaper treadmill but I feel that my athletes would appreciate it and I would differentiate myself with other global gyms in the area. I’ve found some refurbished Desmo treadmills from other small online retailers but the warranty is not as good as from the manufacturer. Any thoughts? Thanks.
I like them. They are better than motor driven treadmills in many ways. There is a learning curve in getting used to them. I worked for a facility that had them and they had no problems for the two years that I was around them. So, I have never had to deal with a maintenance issue on one. They don’t look to be any harder to repair than a motorized treadmill.
If I were in the market for a treadmill, I would definitely look hard at purchasing one.
