That will ultimately be your call… But, if you are looking to do a self defense class, one idea would be to teach that separately to women. Then, you could offer a mixed Bootcamp where men and women could benefit. Two different classes–two different approaches. This may attract some women who are interested in the self defense class, but not necessarily the Bootcamp.
Another idea is to do a mixed bootcamp class as you mentioned, but incorporate self defense moves into it. I would probably keep it mixed male/female as they could both benefit.
So, you have different options, but you could always market/ask around to see who is interested before you decide. Sounds like a great class, though!
Good luck to you.
Hello Yasir A.,
What do you want to achieve? You could do a survey of your potential students and/or have special days for self defense instruction.
I would offer all options to both men and women; that way you know for sure who is interested in which instruction options.

personally, I would be more attracted by a self defense/fitness hybrid because it is unique. Bootcamps by now are getting more popular but this is a novel idea that I had not seen before. I think it is a great idea to set yourself apart.
Personally–I’ve had better results with mixed classes. Couples often attend together; you could even offer a couples discount to fill out the class. A full class always attracts more people; it’s like a magnet for others looking for the experience of a group training session. Good luck, my friend!
