Nawrocki Fitness is located in center city Philadelphia, owners and instructors Marlene & Ed have been in the industry together for 15 years, in the last two years the start of the barre method, spinning, body weight training etc has been popular. Even though these disciplines are prevalent in what we offer we have noticed a drop off in our attendance and clientele
In the last two years, have you replaced programs or services that had been successful in previous years with the newer stuff? (barre, spinning, etc.). I think there’s a danger in trying to be all things to everybody. Highlight and market your strengths, expertise, and experience.
Nothing beats superior customer service: if you’re respectful, caring, and honest in everything you do, it’ll permeate and shine through your facility, staff, and programming. People don’t often leave people, places, and experiences that make them feel good.
It’s an open industry, new things happen all the time
I think things like the Barre Method, The Daily Method, Cross Fit, Spin, are all off shoots of the bigger picture.
I also believe these programs have business models that encapsulate the masses. It’s a business to them more than a personal service, however, there is room for everyone.
As long as there are no regulations, licensing reguirements or mandatory certifications, it will continue..
